BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business continues to be recognized by the Princeton Review for its efforts to deliver its signature MBA programs online and in-residence through their latest “best business schools” rankings.
For the seventh consecutive year, its Kelley Direct Online MBA Program is ranked No. 1 in the Princeton Review’s “Top 50 Online MBA Programs.”
While the Princeton Review does not provide a similar overall ranking of “on-campus MBA programs,” it did rank Kelley’s Full-Time MBA +Flex Program as a top 10 program in four categories reflecting its quality – both inside and outside of the classroom.
It was ranked as the third-best MBA for marketing and the 10th best for consulting. It is the third most family-friendly program and is fifth for “best professors.”

Dean Pat Hopkins
“This recognition is a powerful reflection of Kelley’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and adaptability, and I am immensely proud of our program leaders, faculty, and staff, whose leadership and expertise continue to shape and elevate our programs, both in person and online,” said Patrick Hopkins, dean of the Kelley School of Business and Conrad Prebys Professor.
“These rankings affirm not only the strength of our curriculum and teaching, but also our ability to evolve with the needs of students and the business world. Kelley is grateful for this continued recognition and energized to keep reaching new heights.”
More than a quarter century of excellence at Kelley Direct
In addition to again being at the top of the Princeton Review’s “Top 50 Online MBA Programs,” Kelley Direct in January was named the No. 1 program by U.S. News & World Report — for the fourth year in a row. It also remains the top online MBA program in North America, according to Fortune and QS Quacquarelli Symonds.
Created in 1999, Kelley Direct is the original online MBA program from a top-tier business school. The program is uniquely designed to meet the needs of working professionals.
All Kelley Direct courses are designed and taught by more than 125 dedicated full-time Kelley faculty. This ensures that students receive a unique and personalized education that includes in-person and immersive experiences. Students can choose from seven majors, a curriculum with 50% electives, and a business functions core, enabling them to customize their experience and gain deep specialization.
Princeton Review’s rankings of online MBA programs are based on data from the company’s surveys in 2025 of administrators at 145 business schools offering online MBAs and surveys of more than 11,900 students enrolled in the schools’ online MBA programs, about academics, faculty, technology platform and other topics. More than 60 data points were weighed in the program selections and ranking tally.

Each student enrolls in “Me, Inc,” a professional development program that provides each student with a personal career coach who works with them to think through and identify the right career fit for their skills, personality and values.
Kelley Full-Time +Flex MBA Program committed to learning, professional development
Last October, the Kelley School announced that it would provide students in its residential MBA program with new opportunities and choices about how they want to complete their degree.
As in the past, students in the Kelley Full-Time +Flex MBA Program would continue to connect with their cohort and benefit from on-campus resources and experiences in their first year in the program. But in their second year, they have the choice of continuing their studies on campus or completing their degree online from anywhere they choose.
It remains the only MBA program where students can complete a traditional two-year in-residence program or finish their degree online.
The Princeton Review report is another indication of the Kelley Full-Time +Flex MBA Program’s continued commitment to student learning and professional development. Its rankings for faculty, marketing, and consulting reflect that dedication, as provided through core electives and its career foundation academies.
Its recognition as being a “family-friendly” program — how students rank the schools’ support of students with spouses and children — highlights the tight-knit community spirit at Kelley that is collaborative and supports students’ growth, goals and needs.

Me, Inc., also prepares students for internship recruiting and helps them land the position they are looking for and leads to better career outcomes.
The school has an active Partners Club, which organizes activities for and builds community among our students, partners, and children. Many events, including holiday and cultural celebrations and tailgates, are open to the whole Kelley MBA family.
The Princeton Review’s Best On-Campus MBA Programs for 2025 names 213 business schools to this designation and presents 18 categories of rankings. Each ranking list names the top 10 schools in a category. The rankings are based on data from surveys of administrators at 244 business schools in 2025 and surveys of more than 22,800 students enrolled in the schools’ on-campus MBA programs during the previous three academic years.
